Round Butterfly Snaps for Scuba Gear

A round butterfly snap has opposing gates that open into a broad attachment area. The shape is useful when clipping accessories to a D-ring or attachment point, especially when a conventional thumb-operated bolt snap is awkward to reach.

Compare material, overall size and the ring or webbing where the snap will be used. Choose a size that is easy to operate with the gloves you dive in and confirm that the gate opens far enough for the intended attachment point.
